Acceptance of terms

By using ChainLog, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of service

ChainLog is a digital maintenance log for bikes. The service allows you to:

  • Automatically import your data from Strava
  • Track mileage and component wear for your bikes
  • Receive maintenance alerts by email
  • Generate maintenance certificates for informational purposes

Account and authentication

Access to ChainLog requires authentication via email or a Strava account. You are responsible for the security of your account and all actions performed through it.

Maintenance certificates

Certificates generated by ChainLog are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute a guarantee, official certification, or contractual document. ChainLog cannot be held responsible for decisions made based on these certificates.

Limitation of liability

ChainLog is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. In particular:

  • Imported data depends on third-party platforms and may be incomplete or inaccurate
  • Maintenance alerts are estimates based on mileage and time elapsed, and do not replace professional diagnosis
  • ChainLog cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages related to the use of the service
  • The service may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance

Intellectual property

ChainLog, its logo and interface are the property of their author. Your personal data belongs to you and can be retrieved or deleted at any time.

Termination

You may stop using ChainLog at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or delete an account in case of abusive use of the service.

Changes

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
